Apple Co-Founder, Steve Jobs, passed away October 5, 2011.  He was 56 years-old.  Jobs introduced devices that have changed the way we, as a society, communicate and function in our everyday lives. The iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad have transformed our society into one where a world without Internet access is unimaginable.   Jobs was really the creative force behind Apple.  It was his idea to make computers that were "easy enough for child to use". His time at Apple included bumps and triumphs.  At one point, Jobs was "asked" to leave Apple; which he did.  He started his own computer company, NeXT, which he later sold.  He also co-founded Pixar (of Disney and Pixar).  This gave him the freedom to enjoy life.   He was eventually asked back to Apple. His past few years at Apple, he earned a $1.00 annual salary, by his own choice since he had all the money he needed.  Over the past decade or so, Jobs has been battling cancer.  This has caused him to temporarily step down as CEO on a few separate occasions. At one point, he even had a liver transplant.  About a month ago, Jobs stepped down as Apple's CEO for the last time.

There are several topics here to discuss:
